This battery is described as having about twice the capacity of the stock Canon battery, but after repeated uses it is clear that there is essentially no difference. Expect this battery to last no longer than the one you got with your camera. Otherwise, it has worked fine after about a dozen full charge/discharge cycles.

I lost my original battery and needed a replacement. This battery lasts even longer than the original and was only a fraction of the cost of the original Canon NB4L battery.

I have a canon SD780is camera which uses the NB4L battery. This is the second one (after return) which will not hold a charge after in the camera for a day.

Purchased this battery as a spare for my wife’s canon camera. So far it has worked as expected with no problems.

I bought this battery to give my wife’s old point-and-shoot camera a last lease on life. She has moved on to a digital SLR, so this new battery has hardly been used, but my impression is that it lasts at least twice as long as the old worn-out Cannon battery. How it compares to a brand new Cannon battery, I have no idea, but for the price I am quite satisfied.
